    Moms Answer: Interview 1

Moms Answer: Interview 1 Being a new mom myself I wondered about other mothers journeys. How would their stories be similar to others, and what would be different? Would moms of older kids have closer answers to other moms of older kids, and would moms of younger kids also stick together? I know a fair amount of moms, so why not ask them! I decided to put together a series of mom interviews and will be posting them once a week until I run out! After that, I might send out more questions and continue with a Moms Answer posting each week. For now, enjoy these interviews with wonderful friends…

My First Day Back at the Gym Postpartum

To the gym… right? After my six-week postpartum appointment I was cleared to pretty much resume normal activity. I didn’t expect not to be, and I felt like I was ready to go back to the gym. I was particularly excited to get back to yoga. Days passed, and I thought about going to the gym, getting the kids club information for Q, but I didn’t. Because I didn’t have the kids club info, I couldn’t go I told myself. I asked Jason to get it for me, and eventually he did. But what about vaccine records? Do I need to bring a bottle for him? I’d only be there…

How to Introduce Your New Baby to Your Pets

When my husband and I were getting ready for Q to make his arrival, I was becoming increasingly nervous about how the introductions between him and our four dogs would go. While they are fairly well behaved they hadn’t been around kids much and had never seen a child under a year old. We had also had guinea pigs at one point and our sweet Lottie dog felt that they were her babies and would be a little too protective of them against the other dogs. How would she respond with a new baby? Would she think she needed to guard him too? Luckily, we were able to bring Q…
